Job summary

Misura Group seeks a hands-on Controller for a multi-plant manufacturing client in Texas. This leader owns financial controls for the operating company and holding entities and manages a 12-person team reporting to the CFO.

You will drive SOX compliance, oversee cost accounting across sites, lead the system conversion, and partner with plant managers on cost, margin and production numbers to inform staffing and purchasing decisions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cost accounting across multiple legal entities
• Public company reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• Proven inventory control and WIP valuation in build-to-order operations
• Led a major accounting system conversion
• Experience building budgets and forecasts tied to production decisions

Responsibilities

• Own financial controls for operating company and holding entities
• Lead a team of 12, including key reports to the CFO
• Drive the accounting system conversion and build the accounting team
• Collaborate with plant leaders on cost, margin, and production numbers; support bank relationships, audits, and debt/lease financing
