Job summary

Stryten Energy in Manchester, IA seeks a Financial Analyst to support the plant’s financial controls and performance analysis, reporting deviations to the Plant Manager and Controller. You will help maintain policies, coordinate capital projects, and improve the control environment while partnering with cross-functional teams across manufacturing and accounting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred or equivalent work experience.
1+ year of professional accounting/finance experience at a multi-location company.
Experience with ERP systems; JDE and Hyperion are a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist financial functions within the facility including purchasing, receiving, production, shipping, and inventory control.
Provide monthly and quarterly forecasts of operating expenses and capital needs.
Process payroll times cards weekly for accuracy.
Review open receipts and invoice issues.
Prepare and enter journal entries during month-end close.
Maintain/improve internal control environment and policy compliance.
Support fixed asset controls and cycle count program.
Coordinate capital expenditure requests (CERs) and monitor project spending.
Collaborate with plant and divisional staff on budgeting and cost-reduction discussions.
Monitor spending and report results to management.
