Job summary

Stryten Energy is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its plant finance leadership and help maintain financial control procedures and standards. The role supports the Plant Manager, Plant Controller and staff by analyzing performance and sharing best practices for the Manchester, IA facility.

Responsibilities include forecasting operating expenses and capital, payroll processing, journal entries, asset controls and cost improvement initiatives across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or foreign equivalent).
• One or more years of accounting/finance experience preferred, in a multi-location company or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (JDE, Hyperion a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assist all financial functions within the manufacturing facility including purchasing, receiving, production, shipping and inventory control; validate accuracy of P&L and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in providing accurate monthly/quarterly forecasts of operating expenses and capital expenditures.
• Process and review payroll times cards weekly for accuracy.
• Prepare and enter journal entries during month end close.
• Maintain/improve current control environment and policy compliance.
• Support safeguarding company assets via cycle counts and fixed asset controls.
