Job summary

Stryten Energy is seeking a Financial Analyst for our Manchester, IA plant. This role oversees controllership activities, from P&L and balance sheet accuracy to monthly forecasting and capital project management.

The analyst collaborates with the Plant Manager and Controller to ensure financial discipline and efficient operations. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and at least 1 year of experience in finance/accounting within manufacturing, with proficiency in ERP

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Assist all financial functions within the facility including P&L and balance sheet accounts.
Provide monthly/quarterly forecasts of operating expenses and Capital.
Process payroll times cards weekly for accuracy.
Review and resolve open receipts and invoice issues.
Prepare journal entries during month end close.
Maintain/compress control environment and policy compliance.
Support asset safeguarding with cycle counts and fixed asset controls.
Coordinate CERs and monitor capital project spending until close.
Work with plant/divisional staff on budgeting and cost-reduction initiatives.
Ensure accurate records and implement positive process improvements.
Monitor spending and report results to management.
Oversee overhead spend with Coupa/Hyperion reporting to hit targets.
Participate in month-end close and budgeting/forecasting.
Process weekly payrolls and payroll reporting.
