Job summary

Entegris in Danbury, CT seeks a Senior Specialist, Plant Finance to provide financial decision support for assigned plants and partner with Plant Management in the Materials Solutions division. You will assist in cost accounting processes and deliver operational analyses to drive improvements.

You’ll support monthly/annual forecasting, budgeting, standard costing updates with Operations, and month-end closes ensuring GAAP compliance; travel to other sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3–5 years of experience.
• Financial modeling and analysis experience.
• Cost accounting knowledge in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal control concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Proficient SAP, Excel and PowerPoint; Business Objects and/or SAP BPC a plus.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate financial analysis clearly to non-financial partners.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret financial results and provide actionable feedback/recommendations for management.
• Support monthly/annual forecasting and budgeting.
• Ensure plant forecasts and budgets align with goals.
• Support establishment of standard costing rates and cost roll updates with Operations.
• Review proposed productivity projects and manufacturing variances.
• Provide financial/operational decision-support through analysis.
• Deliver timely plant results and drive accountability.
• Complete month-end close tasks ensuring GAAP compliance including inventory valuations.
• Provide financial education/training to non-finance staff.
