Job summary

nVent is seeking a Finance leader for our San Diego manufacturing site. You will partner with plant leadership, own budgeting and forecasting, and ensure accurate financial reporting while maintaining strong controls.

This role drives cost optimization, ROI analyses, and strategic investments within ISC. The successful candidate will have 4+ years in FP&A or related finance roles, solid US GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to travel up to 10% and motivate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years in Financial Planning, Operational Finance, or Corporate Finance.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• CPA/CMA is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Finance support to the Plant Leader and organization, assuring awareness of gaps to targets and offering alternate paths to achieving commitments.
• Drive accountability for ISC performance metrics. Act as the Financial conscience of the San Diego organization.
• Maintain and improve upon a reporting and analysis architecture that provides timely, accurate and relevant information to ISC decision makers.
• Lead the annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts for the San Diego facility.
• Provide financial support to the ISC strategic planning effort.
• Lead the location CAPEX process, including financial analysis and prioritization of alternative investments, make vs. buy analysis etc., maximizing ROI.
