Job summary

GHSP, headquartered in West Michigan, is seeking a Plant Operations Controller to join our Finance team in Grand Haven, MI. Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing Controlling, the role drives financial discipline through analysis of results, costing, reporting, and controls aligned with GAAP.

You will lead plant accounting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and asset management, while providing insights to operations and executive leadership to improve profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or equivalent required.
• Certified Public Accountant preferred.
• 7-10+ years: accounting experience required.
• Experience in manufacturing financial leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain plant accounting and financial reporting.
• Lead month-end and year-end close and audits.
• Oversee costing, inventory variances, and asset management.
• Provide financial insights to operations and leadership for decision making.
