Job summary

Capital Power is seeking a Business Manager to drive financial and administrative success at a plant level. You will work cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure accurate budgeting, reporting and cost control.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, strong office software skills, and hands-on budget tracking. A safety-conscious, collaborative environment offers growth and recognition.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a related industry and/or role.
• Strong office software skills including standard suites.
• Proven ability to track and organize documents both hard copies and digital.
• Intermediate capability to analyze plant level finances and budget variance.

Responsibilities

• Track and develop site financial data for monthly and annual finance reporting.
• Support the development of the Annual O&M Budget and Admin budget.
• Manage corporate travel arrangements and expense reconciliation.
• Review and manage open purchase orders and work orders; advise on cost allocation.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and coordinate contract activities.
