NeoLife, a world-wide nutrition company, seeks a Facilities Manager to lead safe, compliant operation of the Hayward, California plant. You will direct maintenance, utilities, and environmental health/safety programs, supervise staff, manage contractors, and ensure readiness for GMP and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate repairs, budgeting, and capital projects while maintaining equipment and facilities to support manufacturing operations.

Competenze

• Associate’s degree and 5–7 years related experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of cGMP and FDA-regulated environments; HVAC, cleanrooms, purified water, gases, electrical systems, building automation
• Experience with equipment/facility qualification, change control, deviations, CAPA, preventive maintenance, calibration, and audit readiness
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects

Mansioni

• Oversee facilities functions including hazardous waste and recycling programs, HVAC maintenance, calibrations, and equipment servicing; document work orders and maintenance actions using a CMMS
• Plan and manage facility repairs, renovations, capital improvements, layouts, and installations; prepare cost estimates and budgets
• Lead, coach, train, and evaluate maintenance and janitorial personnel
• Coordinate with environmental/regulatory agents and manage contractors and vendors; ensure work is completed satisfactorily
• Serve as Safety Coordinator for Natural Formulas; conduct post-accident investigations and safety/environmental inspections
• Ensure compliance with GMP, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements; address findings with Operations and Quality
• Maintain departments to operate on daily schedules; facilitate access to new equipment to improve efficiency
• Develop or revise SOPs and assess workers for compliance with standards
• Assist Director of Operations in planning future facilities layout and usage
• Keep Director informed of ongoing plant activities and initiatives
• Provide GMP, safety, and on-the-job training for the department
