Job summary

Cabot Corporation is seeking a Plant Environmental Manager to lead the SH&E organization at the Franklin, LA site. You will manage Title V permitting, compliance programs, and regulatory interactions while guiding the plant toward sustainable, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/University degree in Environmental or Safety engineering or related fields.
• 7+ years of experience in Title V permitting, waste, water, air, etc.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Leadership/supervisory experience desired.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and safety sciences and practices.
• Strong knowledge of national and local regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely submission of Title V and other environmental permits.
• Develop and implement cost-effective environmental programs and procedures.
• Ensure local compliance with plant, company and regulatory policies and laws.
• Support SH&E leadership to manage environmental concerns.
• Lead and develop direct reports within the environmental team.
• Act as primary liaison with regulators (EPA/LDEQ) for site.
• Oversee emissions monitoring programs and reporting to permit limits.
• Drive continuous improvement in environmental performance and sustainability.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and risk management to plant leadership.
• Monitor emerging environmental regulations and assess operational impacts.
