Job summary

Cabot Corporation is seeking a Plant Environmental Manager to lead the environmental science function at the Franklin, LA facility. You will ensure Title V and related permit compliance, develop cost-effective environmental programs, and collaborate with local management to meet regulations and corporate SH&E goals.

The role requires a strong environmental background, 7+ years in manufacturing, and a proven leadership track.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Safety engineering or related field.
7+ years of related experience (Title V permitting, waste, water, air).
Prior manufacturing experience.
Prior leadership/supervisory experience desired.
Strong knowledge of environmental and safety sciences and practices.
Strong knowledge of national and local regulations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate submittal of Title V and all other environmental permitting processes.
Facilitate development and implementation of cost-effective programs to increase environmental awareness and prevent incidents.
Ensure local compliance with plant, company, and governmental policies, procedures, regulations, and legislation.
Support Plant Management and SH&E teams to identify and manage environmental concerns.
Lead and develop direct report and collaborate with regional/corporate SH&E teams.
