Job summary

Haynes International is seeking a seasoned Industrial Engineer with strong project management and supervisory experience to lead manufacturing processes and routings for melted alloys, titanium tubular products, and bar products.

You will direct the tooling department, analyze performance against standards, and implement improvements to safety, quality, productivity, and costs. A Lean focus and ISO/AS quality frameworks guide daily decisions and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied sciences is required.
• Lean Manufacturing Principles Training is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years in industrial engineering and project management.
• 3–5 years in supervisory/management roles.
• 2–4 years of Microsoft Office experience.
• 2–4 years in multitask work environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and engineering talent to develop manufacturing processes and routings.
• Direct tooling and mandrel shop activities with leadership guidance.
• Analyze manufacturing process performance to standard and implement improvements.
• Research, design, and implement facility and equipment enhancements for safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Apply lean principles to customer service and internal relationships.
• Develop and report key process indicators related to overall equipment effectiveness and project schedule.
• Train and supervise staff and hold teams accountable for performance.
• Communicate project status and facility improvements to senior management.
