Job summary

FPC Franchise outside Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead new equipment/automation projects and drive process improvements across manufacturing, quality, and safety.

You will develop semi-automated lines, optimize flow and lead-time, and support cost-reduction initiatives while collaborating with production teams and cross-functional groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new semi-automated lines/equipment from concept to production
• Optimize product flow and line efficiency while reducing CAPEX and lead time
• Generate machine specifications, RFIs and RFQs, documentation, and manufacturing instructions
• Generate process flow, FMEA, and inspection methodology for new products
• Collaborate with production teams to identify key areas for improvement in operating equipment and products
• Identify and lead projects for new product development, continual improvement, and cost reductions
• Coordinate development strategy and topics with other teams
• Support manufacturing, quality, and safety teams as a technical expert
• Support sales with customer-related issues and projects
• Lead teams as assigned and participate with teams and projects as needed
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and lead-time reduction continual improvement activities

Great opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work for a world leader in Titanium and Specialty Alloys located just outside of Pittsburgh, PA.

Our client is a leading metal alloys manufacturer looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead new equipment/automation projects, process and product improvements, and Lean/cost-reduction initiatives while providing technical support across manufacturing, quality, and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new semi-automated lines/equipment from concept to production
