Job summary

Knauf Insulation is seeking an Engineering Manager to steer the project engineering and maintenance functions, maximizing plant efficiency and ensuring a safe work environment across a 24/7 operation. The role involves budget planning, KPI analysis, and implementing improvements to safety, quality, and profitability.

You will lead Maintenance Supervisors, coordinate with Corporate Engineering, and drive a culture of continuous improvement and inclusive leadership across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical field required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the project engineering and maintenance functions to maximize plant efficiency while maintaining a safe working environment.
• Prepare the annual Engineering and Maintenance budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Pursue technologies to improve safety, product quality, plant profitability, operating efficiencies, etc.
• Direct the activities of the Maintenance Supervisors and monitor plant performance from a maintenance perspective.
• Ensure ISO procedures for the Maintenance and Engineering Department are implemented and documented.
• Drive employee retention, engagement, and a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Instill an environment of inclusion where all employees can contribute and impact the company positively.
