Dauch is seeking a Plant Manager Manufacturing Engineering in Detroit to lead a team of engineers and technicians in manufacturing engineering and program launch. You will drive capital alignment, ensure production excellence, and oversee design, validation, and standards across plant processes and equipment.

Formación

• Minimum 8 years of relevant automotive manufacturing experience.
• At least 5 years in a leadership/people management role.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, and Operational Excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Process Design Engineering: Analyze information and specify the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems to deliver the end product within specified cost and quality parameters.
• Engineering Solutions Design: Design engineering solutions and the associated validation process to enable the realization of a design brief that conforms to standards.
• Engineering Standards Specification: Contribute to the analysis of information, drafting of standards and specifications, and evaluation of their effectiveness.
• Engineering Inspections: Carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of complex engineering works and specify remedial works needed for conformance.
• Leadership and Direction: Communicate actions to implement the function's strategy and motivate the team.
• Budgeting: Deliver a budget for an area and analyze budget progress.
• Plant and Machinery Design and Installation: Design and supervise the installation of plant and machinery and commission to meet requirements.
• Manufacturing Methods/Processes Development: Identify shortcomings and lead improvements and larger projects.
• Engineering Drawings: Manage performance and set objectives for team members.
• Solutions Analysis: Evaluate complex, expertise-led solutions against business criteria.
• Internal Client Relationship Management: Build credibility with internal clients and manage resources.
• Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow HSE policies to mitigate risks.
• Organizational Capability Building: Identify development needs and provide training.
• Continuous Improvement: Review operations and drive innovation.
• Program Launch & New Product Introduction: Lead NPI and program launches from C-stage to SOP and post-launch phases.
