The team leader will supervise manufacturing associates, coordinate operations, and drive safety, quality and productivity to meet customer expectations.

Based in Detroit, MI with global reach, this role requires at least 1 year in manufacturing and experience with Plex Systems and CNC processes.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing operations (2 years preferred).
• Solid understanding of personal computers, Microsoft Office, Plex Systems, molding, sintering, sizing, tumbling, cnc, and mpi.
• IS0-14001 Environmental Management Systems familiarity.
• IATF 16949 Quality Systems Requirements; SPC and FMEA knowledge.
• Team Building and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise manufacturing associates and coordinate task assignments.
• Plan changeovers/setups with Shift Supervisor to minimize disruption.
• Ensure adherence to procedures, safety rules and conduct codes.
• Monitor machine efficiency, quality, and scrap levels; drive improvements.
• Facilitate communications between operations, shifts, and team leaders.
