Job summary
Johns Manville is seeking a Plant Engineer at the Penbryn, NJ plant. You will lead maintenance, capital projects and the Asset Care & Reliability program while coordinating safety and contractor activities.
This role reports to the Plant Manager and requires a strong engineering background with leadership experience. Experience with ERP systems (SAP PM/PS/P2P) and a proactive approach to productivity, safety, and cost control will be essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years in maintenance/plant/project engineering.
- 5+ years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and SAP PM/PS/P2P modules.
Responsibilities
- Complete safety requirements as assigned.
- Manage Asset Care & Reliability (AC&R) program for improvements.
- Oversee plant-driven capital projects and budgets.
- Coordinate safety and contractor activities for projects.
- Develop long-term Capex programs and manage MRO purchases.
- Provide on-site leadership of internal and external resources.
- Support productivity improvements and energy management.
- Handle hiring, onboarding, evaluations and coaching.
