Johns Manville is seeking a Plant Engineer at the Penbryn, NJ plant to lead maintenance, capital projects, and reliability programs. You will direct a salary staff and coordinate with contractors while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence in a manufacturing setting.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires a technical engineering background, leadership experience, and ERP/SAP proficiency to drive continuous improvements and capital initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years in maintenance/plant/project engineering.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience with ERP systems and SAP PM modules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety requirements and ensure program compliance.
• Direct reports management and performance evaluations.
• Lead Asset Care & Reliability (AC&R) improvements.
• Manage plant-driven capital projects and documentation.
• Coordinate external engineers and contractors for projects.
• Develop and manage long-term Capex programs.
• Oversee MRO purchasing and budget spend.
• Coordinate IT activities with corporate IT.
