Johns Manville is seeking a Plant Engineer at the Penbryn, NJ plant to lead maintenance, capital projects, and reliability programs. You will direct a salary staff and coordinate with contractors while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence in a manufacturing setting.
The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires a technical engineering background, leadership experience, and ERP/SAP proficiency to drive continuous improvements and capital initiatives.

Pay Range $129,600.00-$178,200.00 Annual This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

The plant is ideally situated in South Jersey, close to Philadelphia, and offers full-time employment with competitive pay and benefits. This position reports to the Plant Manager.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' maintenance/plant/project engineering experience and 5 years of work experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing/industrial environment Working knowledge/understanding of ERP Systems Thorough knowledge of environmental and safety Local/State/Federal rules/regulations Strong leadership skills Manages a staff of 3 salary/40 hourly union employees, sets direction and deploys resources. Responsible for performance evaluations, pay reviews, hiring, and terminating. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Proven problem-solving abilities Proven analytical and quality improvement ability Ability to understand business principles Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally Minimal travel required (0 -- 10 days per year) May be required to lift, carry, push or pull up to an including 50 pounds. Work environment is typical of a manufacturing facility; may be exposed to environmental conditions of cold, heat, high noise levels, moving mechanical parts, heights, dust/mist/gas/fumes, extensive walking or climbing, etc.
