Energizer Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Specialist to provide technical leadership across Operations, Reliability, Quality and Facilities. You will lead and assist in solving complex problems, support continuous improvement projects, and develop colleagues in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role emphasizes mechanical/electrical expertise, PLC proficiency, and collaboration with engineers and contractors to meet SQCD objectives and schedule commitments.

Formación

• Proven technical skills in manufacturing environment.
• Education – A technical or engineering degree, a 2 year technical degree, or post high school training with equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical systems is required.
• Demonstrated PLC experience.
• Demonstrated ability to solve a variety of complex technical problems.
• Ability to instruct and evaluate maintenance and technical personnel in troubleshooting, problem solving and overall job performance.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement initiative, mentality, cost reduction and project implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to work with outside contractors to meet project or task objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to meet objectives on-time and within scope/expectations of assignments
• Must have the ability to work an occasional flexible schedule

Responsabilidades

• Guides and/or assists maintenance or quality personnel and production teams in solving mechanical/electrical or quality problems encountered in the production process as needed.
• Assists engineers and technical personnel in resolving non-routine, complex problems involving facilities, equipment, machinery, parts and raw materials.
• Majority of time spent on technical activities, leadership and development activities.
• Technical activities may include supporting operations to meet SQCD, leading projects that reduce Cost or improve Quality, ownership of a particular area of the plant which may include operations or facilities.
• Leads and/or assists engineers or other technical colleagues in solving not-routine, complex problems involving machinery, processes, facilities, raw materials, etc…
• Provides leadership, training, coordination and expertise across all shifts
• Perform supervisory duties as assigned
