Smithfield Foods is seeking a senior-level Engineering leader to drive capital projects and maintenance excellence at our Nashville area facility. You will own capital projects from concept through completion, develop maintenance systems, and lead a cross-functional team to maximize plant reliability and minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates bring a strong mechanical/electrical background, experience with TPM, and a proven ability to manage resources in a large manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination.
• 2+ years of team management or project leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability.
• Advanced technical skills in mechanical/electrical fields (PLCs, instrumentation) and capacity to lead resource planning in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems, work orders, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM.

Responsabilidades

• Own capital projects from concept to completion, manage scheduling, ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop and implement maintenance systems including preventive/predictive maintenance and TPM.
• Lead maintenance staff, delegate tasks, enforce policies, ensure safety and compliance.
• Provide short- and long-term solutions to operational challenges to keep production running smoothly.
• Develop and track KPIs for maintenance performance and equipment reliability.
• Demonstrate leadership during absences and manage tasks to ensure operations stay on track.
• Foster employee development and coaching to build a strong maintenance team.
