United Future in Wilson, NC is seeking a Plant Engineer to lead the maintenance and engineering department in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, ensuring top‑tier building and equipment performance and peak production line efficiency.

You will drive downtime reduction, implement preventive and predictive maintenance, TPM, and lead capital projects with safety and environmental standards, advancing innovative technology initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 8+ years’ experience.
• 2+ years in team management or project leadership.
• Strong leadership, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability.
• Advanced technical skills in mechanical/electrical fields (PLCs, instrumentation).
• Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order process, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of capital projects from concept to completion.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
• Manage maintenance team and delegate tasks safely.
• Provide short-term fixes and long-term solutions for operational issues.
• Develop and track KPIs for maintenance performance.
