Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products is seeking an Electrician to maintain and repair all electrical equipment in production areas and troubleshoot PLCs while upholding company safety policies. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, you will ensure reliability and continuity of operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical systems, ladder diagrams and schematics, and participation in preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade.
• 1 - 2 years' experience in a relevant field.
• Basic knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC hardware and Software; Siemens PLC knowledge also beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Company Safety Policies.
• Maintain and repair all existing electrical equipment in production areas and troubleshooting PLC's by utilizing ladder diagrams and schematics.
• Actively participate in the preventative maintenance program.
• Perform Electrical preventative maintenance of electrical control panels and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety standards.
• Work with engineering on electrical upgrade and new equipment installs.
• Run conduit and electrically terminate wiring in industrial equipment; interpret input/output modules.
