Job summary

Jabil in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an experienced EHS Supervisor for 1st shift to join our manufacturing plant. You will guide the safety program, oversee compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and drive the development of safety policies and training.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in EHS or related field, 4+ years in EHS in manufacturing, and at least 1 year of leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Safety or related discipline is required.
• At least 4 years of experience working in an EHS capacity within a Manufacturing Plant or Warehouse.
• A minimum of 1 year of Leadership or Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement general safety policies compliant with local, state, and national safety and health rules and regulations.
• Coach and train EHS staff; adjust workloads as necessary.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain the site ISO 14001 program and environmental permits.
• Lead hazardous waste management and recycling programs and related documentation.
• Report greenhouse gas data and support compliance across the site.
