Job summary

Jabil in Auburn Hills, MI seeks an experienced Lead EHS Engineer/Specialist to oversee the EHS program for the 1st shift. You will drive safety policy, lead incident investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance across local, state, and federal rules.

You will develop and maintain ISO 14001 processes, train staff, and coordinate with management on safety improvements and budgets while promoting a safe, healthy workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental/EHS related field.
• 4+ years in EHS within a manufacturing plant or warehouse setting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement general safety policies compliant with local, state, and national regulations.
• Coach and train EHS staff; adjust workloads as necessary.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Maintain the ISO 14001 program and environmental permits.
• Coordinate the emergency response program and training.
• Ensure corrective actions are tracked in the incident management system.
