Spectrum Brands is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager for the Vinita Park facility in the St. Louis, MO area.

You will lead EHS, security, and workers’ compensation programs, ensuring a safe, healthy workplace and full compliance with OSHA, EPA and applicable regulations. You will design and deliver training, manage safety performance through EHS systems, participate on the plant Safety Committee, and coordinate emergency planning with local authorities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS role with demonstrated knowledge of applicable environmental health and safety regulations required.
• Manufacturing facility experience is required.
• Experience with Process Safety Management/Risk Management Planning a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the facility’s environmental, health, safety, and sustainability initiatives in alignment with local, group, and corporate objectives.
• Manage safety performance and reporting through electronic EHS Safety Management Systems.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations; represent or support representation of the company in all regulatory interactions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs for managers and employees on key safety and environmental topics.
• Serve as a key leader on the plant Safety Committee, facilitating safety initiatives, campaigns, and communications.
• Oversee site emergency action planning, including collaboration with local Police and Fire Departments and coordination of emergency drills.
• Prepare, submit, and maintain all required environmental reports for federal, state, and local agencies.
