Job summary

Spectrum Brands’ Home & Garden Division is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager for the Vinita Park facility in the St. Louis, MO area. The role leads EHS, security, and workers’ compensation programs to ensure a safe, compliant workplace.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s in a safety-related field and have at least 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, with strong training, leadership, and regulatory oversight skills. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Engineering or equivalent field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS role with knowledge of applicable regulations.
• Manufacturing facility experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental, health, safety, and sustainability initiatives at the Vinita Park facility.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations; manage EHS audits and corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures.
• Design and deliver training programs for managers and employees on safety topics.
• Lead the plant Safety Committee and coordinate emergency planning and drills.
