Job summary

Ferrara is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Supervisor for the Forest Park site. The role focuses on maintaining a safe plant environment and enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies across multiple facilities.

You will lead safety programs, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance. The position requires collaboration with Engineering, HR, Quality, and Operations to ensure compliance, training, and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in safety, environmental sciences or related field.
• 1+ year of safety/environmental manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating EHS sustainability activities is a plus.
• First Aid/CPR/AED or related certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS initiatives across Forest Park and neighboring facilities.
• Train employees on site safety practices and OSHA requirements.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure regulatory compliance through audits and site inspections.
• Collaborate with Engineering, HR, Quality, and Operations to meet safety goals.
