Ferrara in Itasca, IL, seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead site EHS programs and the team. You will integrate safety and environmental management into daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will develop proactive strategies, coordinate with Engineering and Quality, and support risk mitigation across manufacturing activities. Strong leadership required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in safety/environmentally conscious manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating EHS sustainability activities in manufacturing.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance inspection procedures.
• EHS-related certifications (CSHO, WSO, OSHT, CET, CHMM, ASP, CSP) a plus.
• Willingness to travel 5–10%.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and standards.
• Manage, coach, and develop EHS Specialists; serve as SME for OSHA PSM and EPA RMP programs.
• Provide visibility of safety, health, and environmental progress using leading and lagging metrics.
• Develop and implement EHS programs that promote safe work practices and continuous improvement.
• Oversee PSM, RMP, Wastewater, Hazardous Waste, and related programs; conduct risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and CAPA reports to prevent recurrence.
