Job summary

Ferrara is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager at our DeKalb facility. You will lead a cross-functional EHS team to ensure safety and regulatory compliance, integrating EHS systems into daily operations, and partnering with senior leadership to meet environmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in safety in manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating EHS sustainability activities in a manufacturing setting.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA and regulatory compliance procedures.
• EHS-related certification such as CSHO, WSO, OSHT, CET, CHMM, ASP, CSP is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 5–10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards to meet internal and external safety & environmental standards.
• Manage, coach, and develop EHS Specialists; serve as SME for OSHA PSM and EPA RMP programs.
• Develop and implement EHS programs promoting safe work practices and metrics improvement.
• Lead and ensure thorough investigation of all incidents; coordinate with site leadership.
• Oversee regulatory compliance audits/inspections and incident reporting and CAPA processes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to review PRP and MOC processes.
