Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Plant EHS Manager to lead and continuously improve the environmental, health, and safety programs at our Virginia manufacturing site. You will drive compliance, engage the workforce, and partner with stakeholders to advance EHS performance and culture.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing EHS, ISO 14001/45001 experience, and strong regulatory relations. You will represent Goodyear with regulatory agencies and build a trusting safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and leading proactive EHS programs in a manufacturing environment.
• 3-5 years of management implementing/sustaining ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or comparable EHS systems.
• Proven ability to improve EHS performance and build regulatory relationships.
• Strong knowledge of regulations, leadership, communication, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental health and safety strategy development and deployment within the plant.
• Develop, lead, and execute EHS initiatives that support business objectives and EHS goals.
• Support operating model processes that increase associate engagement and EHS performance.
• Administer and continuously improve EHS management systems including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 prep.
• Facilitate EHS governance and establish leading/lagging performance indicators.
• Build relationships with regulatory agencies and community leaders to promote EHS best practices.
