Job summary

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager in Lawton, OK. This leadership role drives the site EHS strategy, champions a culture of safety and environmental stewardship, and ensures compliance with all regulations and Goodyear standards.

You will deploy ISO 14001 and prepare for ISO 45001 readiness while partnering with cross-functional teams to boost engagement, measure performance, and foster continuous improvement across the manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline; Master’s degree, CIH, CSP, or equivalent certifications are valued.
• 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and leading proactive EHS programs within a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of leadership experience implementing, managing, or sustaining ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or comparable EHS management systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, environmental, health, safety, and company requirements.
• Lead deployment and continuous improvement of the site EHS management system, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 readiness.
• Develop and execute plant EHS initiatives, governance, metrics, and improvement strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to increase workforce engagement and ownership of EHS performance.
• Establish leading and lagging KPIs and drive measurable improvements in EHS results.
• Foster a learning-focused culture through coaching, servant leadership, problem-solving, and human and organizational performance principles.
