Job summary

Goodyear seeks a Plant EHS Manager in Danville, VA to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across the facility. You will drive strategy, oversee ISO 14001/45001 readiness, and partner with operations to elevate EHS performance and culture.

The role requires a strong regulatory background, 7+ years in manufacturing EHS, and 3-5 years managing teams; familiarity with CIH or CSP is a plus, with a commitment to safe, sustainable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years designing, implementing, and leading proactive EHS programs in manufacturing.
• 3–5 years of management experience implementing/sustaining ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
• Demonstrated success improving EHS performance and building regulatory relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental health and safety strategy development and deployment within the plant.
• Develop, lead, and execute EHS initiatives that support business objectives and EHS goals.
• Administer and continuously improve environmental and safety management systems, including ISO 14001/45001 readiness.
• Facilitate EHS governance processes and establish leading and lagging performance indicators.
• Build relationships with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to promote best practices.
