Job summary

ADM's Harvard, IL facility is seeking an EHS Manager to provide strategic leadership of EH&S standards, systems and permits within a plant setting. You will drive continuous improvement, lead incident investigations and mentor teams while coordinating with the Plant Manager and global EHS to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong communication, bilingual abilities preferred, and the capability to operate across office and outdoor environments with rigorous safety oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• Effective oral and written communication, including public presentation.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Proven teamwork and hazard recognition with risk controls.
• Able to work in varied environments and traverse up to two miles.
• Background check required by ADM.

Responsibilities

• Work with Plant Manager and leaders to implement environmental and safety KPIs.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and training related to EH&S.
• Promote safety engagement and improve employee dedication to safety.
• Evaluate programs and policies through monitoring and auditing.
• Communicate regulations clearly and assist with implementation.
• Assess health and safety impacts of operations and emergencies.
• Lead environmental and safety reporting in the EHS system.
• Partner with Total Process Safety Leaders to ensure compliance.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations.
• Oversee injured colleague cases and CI through monthly calls.
