Job summary

ADM is seeking an EHS Manager to provide strategic leadership on EH&S standards, systems and permits within a plant setting. You will collaborate with plant leaders and oversee environmental, health and safety performance while driving continuous improvement. The role reports to the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities include implementing KPIs, mentoring teams, training, audits, risk assessment, incident investigations and EHS reporting. Relocation assistance available; background check required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental or similar field; degree waivable with 6–12 years' EHS experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication and public presentation skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and standard systems.
• Ability to work well in a team and lead safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain environmental and safety KPIs with Plant Manager and leaders.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, training and public presentations as needed.
• Lead safety initiatives to improve engagement and safety culture.
• Evaluate effectiveness of EHS programs through audits and monitoring.
• Communicate regulatory requirements and assist with implementation and management.
• Assess risks and manage safety impacts of operations and emergencies.
• Ensure EHS reporting requirements are met in the management system.
• Lead incident investigations and oversee injured colleague cases.
• Support Continuous Improvement with monthly calls to leaders and EHS teams.
