Job summary

IntePros is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to lead and coordinate the plant safety program across manufacturing facilities in California. The role requires driving safety culture, performing audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance while partnering with leadership to implement effective corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will manage safety training, incident investigations, SDS maintenance, and cross-functional safety initiatives to minimize risk and support

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety preferred.
• 2+ years of safety coordination or related experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and environmental compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Safety Management System and foster a proactive safety culture.
• Facilitate safety audits and conduct daily walk-throughs of production areas.
• Lead Safety Committee meetings and report findings to area managers.
• Coordinate Industrial Hygiene testing and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and update as needed.
• Investigate incidents thoroughly with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare and deliver periodic safety reports to Senior Leadership.
