Job summary

Mikehudsondist is seeking a Plant Manager in Columbus, OH to direct the efficient and cost-effective operation of distribution centers and warehousing. You will manage inbound/outbound activities, inventory, budgeting, customer service, and loss prevention to meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or minimum 5 years of experience in a related role.
• Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
• Budget development and oversight experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve operational systems, processes and policies to support mission and improve reporting, information flow, and planning.
• Manage and improve the effectiveness of Support Services (HR, IT, Finance) through functional improvements and cross-functional coordination.
• Play a significant role in long-term planning with a focus on operational excellence.
• Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls.
• Organize to service each division while maintaining and improving efficiency across operations.
• Interface cross-functionally with divisions, offshore management, external resources, freight forwarders, third-party providers and government agencies.
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for issues of moderate to complex scope.
