Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Plant Manager to direct the efficient operation of its distribution centers and warehouses in Columbus, OH. You will manage inbound receipt and storage, inventory control, outbound order filling, and budgeting while ensuring service levels and loss prevention programs are maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar leadership role if no degree.
• Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
• Budget development and oversight experience.
• Commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.

Responsibilities

• Improve operational systems, processes and policies to support mission and planning.
• Manage and increase efficiency of support services through functional improvements and coordination.
• Contribute to long‑term planning and operational excellence initiatives.
• Oversee financial management, planning, systems and controls.
• Organize cross‑division service delivery and improve departmental efficiency.
• Interact across all levels including offshore/subsidiary management and external partners.
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for moderately to complex issues.
