Job summary

The Judge Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Distribution Center Manager to lead end-to-end distribution center operations for a 250,000 sq ft facility with 100 employees and 20,000+ SKUs serving OEM customers.

You will drive safety, quality, and service targets, manage labor, and optimize workflows while leading a strong, data-driven distribution team. The package includes base salary and a 10% bonus, reflecting a senior operations role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; experience considered in lieu.
• 7+ years in distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing ops.
• 7+ years of people leadership (50+ employees).
• Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt).
• Experience leading a Distribution Center/warehouse/manufacturing plant.
• ERP experience preferred (SAP or Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily distribution center operations: inbound, storage, picking, packing, outbound shipping.
• Manage, coach, and develop a workforce including supervisors and frontline teams.
• Drive performance against key metrics such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy through controls and cycle counts.
• Optimize labor planning, staffing, and workflow to meet demand and improve efficiency.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA/company standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost.
• Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, transportation, and customer service teams.
• Manage operating budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Distribution Manager

The Distribution Center Manager is responsible for end-to-end distribution center operations and driving operational excellence across receiving, inventory, and shipping while ensuring safety, quality, and service targets are consistently met. The facility is 250,000 square feet, 100 employees, non-union, and 20,000+ SKUs serving a wide variety of OEM customers.

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000 base salary + 10% bonus.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications Seeking

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Experience will be considered in lieu)
• 7+ years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing plant operations
• 7+ years of direct people leadership experience, leading large teams (50+ employees)
• Experience as Manager or lead of a Distribution Center/warehouse/manufacturing plant
• Lean/Six sigma certification (Green or Black Belt)

ERP Experience (SAP Or Oracle Preferred)

• Experience with inventory control and logistics operations
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Manage operating budget, including labor, equipment, and facility costs
• Proven leadership, problem‑solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment
• Continuous improvement mindset with Lean/Six Sigma exposure
• Data‑driven decision‑making and problem‑solving skills
