Job summary

Bobo’s Oat Bars in Loveland, CO is seeking a Plant Director to lead day‑to‑day manufacturing across all shifts. You will direct Production Managers and frontline teams, own the production schedule, and drive labor productivity, throughput, and OEE while upholding GMPs and food safety standards.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will partner with QA, Logistics, and Procurement to optimize end‑to‑end manufacturing, build bench strength, and lead continuous improvement in a high‑volume bakery

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience across multiple shifts or large teams.
• Experience in food, bakery, or high‑volume regulated manufacturing strongly preferred.
• HACCP and PCQI certification or working knowledge preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma/TPM or structured continuous improvement experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; additional technical or business education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct all manufacturing activity across shifts, production lines, and teams.
• Lead Production Managers and supervisors with clear expectations and accountability.
• Own daily production schedule, staffing, startup readiness, and plan execution.
• Maintain floor visibility, assess line conditions, constraints, and priorities.
• Drive labor productivity, line balancing, and standard work to hit targets.
• Ensure GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and worker safety compliance.
• Partner with QA, Logistics, and Procurement to optimize end‑to‑end flow.
• Develop frontline leaders and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.
