Job summary

Palermo Villa, Inc. in Milwaukee's Canal Street campus seeks a Director of Operations to lead manufacturing execution across Bakery departments, reporting to the VP of Operations.

You will translate strategy into priorities, develop leaders, and drive safety, quality, and productivity across shifts.

This leadership role requires a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading managers in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-shift manufacturing operations.
• MBA, Six Sigma, or Lean certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations across multiple production departments and shifts to safely and efficiently execute production plans.
• Translate business strategy into operational priorities that drive customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Develop, coach, and mentor Bakery Supervisors while building leadership capability throughout the organization.
• Create a culture centered on accountability, engagement, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
• Drive results across safety, quality, productivity, labor, waste, delivery, and cost.
