Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Bakery in California seeks a Plant Director to lead a three-shift manufacturing facility of ~160 FTEs. You’ll drive production, packaging, scheduling, and logistics to meet business goals while upholding safety and quality standards.

You’ll partner with HR and engineering, mentor leaders, and steer continuous improvement. A BS degree is required; MBA a plus; 15+ years in food manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in food manufacturing management at Plant Manager/Director level.
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma techniques.
• Experience with large-scale P&L and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a multi-shift facility.
• Drive performance in scheduling, logistics, and packaging.
• Lead safety, quality, and cost improvements with measurable objectives.
• Develop training programs and maintain effective employee relations.
• Oversee budgeting, labor efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
