Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Cost Accountant to develop and monitor plant costs and operational metrics, maintain SKU level cost standards in SAP, and support month-end close and budgeting processes. The role resides at the plant and collaborates with plant leadership to ensure accurate costing and reporting.

You will prepare variance analyses, standard costs, BOMs, and routings in SAP, and provide financial insight for pricing, CAPEX, and new product costing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of procurement, manufactured products, and production processes.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP.
• Cost Accounting or Manufacturing accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop standard costs and update BOMs and Routings in SAP.
• Reconcile labor hours between SAP and payroll weekly.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for inventory adjustments.
• Assist in annual operating budget and CAPEX analysis.
• Monitor production metrics and analyze cost variances.
