Job summary

Borgers, a Company of Autoneum, is seeking an accounting professional in Ohio to lead product and process costing within the manufacturing finance team. You will manage SAP cost accounting, support monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring accurate inventory valuations across two sites.

This role partners with plant management to deliver reliable financial information, perform variance analyses, and drive cost improvements using standard costing and ERP/GL systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP FI/CO and HFM in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to develop and maintain standard costing with monthly variances.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills for cost and profitability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own cost accounting module in SAP, including staging materials and inventory valuations.
• Develop and maintain a cost analysis system using standard costing and monthly variances.
• Calculate overhead, labor, and machine rates for product costing at the two sites.
• Support product profitability reporting with plant costing information and guidance.
• Assist with monthly close, journal entries, and reporting in SAP and HFM.

Summary

Responsible for partnering with plant management to improve financial performance through accounting, reporting, analysis, and financial planning activities. Supports monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, inventory accounting, and cost accounting processes while maintaining standard costing systems and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Utilizes SAP (FI/CO), HFM, and ERP/GL systems to deliver reliable financial information, support business decisions, and help achieve company financial objectives.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Product and Process Costing (2 sites)

• Responsible for the cost accounting module in SAP. This includes staging materials (new part setup/updates) and working with cross functional teams to ensure accurate material inventory records and financial valuations.
• Develop and maintain a cost analysis system using standard costing, reporting variances monthly.
• Calculate overhead rates, labor rates, and machine rates to cost at a product level.
• Support product profitability reporting with plant costing information and advisement.

Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis (small, light assembly site)

• Support monthly close accounting (SAP) and reporting (HFM) processes, WD1 through WD3. Prepare journal entries, account
