Zusammenfassung

Brooks Instrument, a unit of ITW, seeks a Plant Cost Accountant based at the Hatfield, PA headquarters. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and Finance to audit inventory, maintain standard costs and analyze manufacturing variances.

The role emphasizes accurate product costing, month-end close, cost reporting and continuous improvement. A Bachelor’s in accounting is required, with 2–3 years of cost accounting in manufacturing; SAP experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years cost accounting experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with standard costing, inventory accounting, and month-end close.
• ERP experience required; SAP or similar ERP preferred.
• CPA/CMA progress is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Monitor inventory activity and resolve issues with Operations.
• Reconcile cost-related GL accounts and research discrepancies.
• Support month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze manufacturing variances (price, usage, scrap).
• Maintain inventory dashboards and financial models.
• Review costs for new product introductions and changes.
• Assist with capital expenditure requests and audits.
