Job summary

Brooks Automation is seeking a Cost Accountant to support manufacturing and inventory accounting processes, including cost analysis, reporting, and internal controls. The role partners with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance leadership to drive data-driven decisions.

The candidate will perform month-end close, inventory valuation, and variances analysis, ensuring compliance with policies and standards while contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• MBA, CPA, CMA or related certification preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing cost accounting and financial reporting desirable.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close and financial reporting for cost and inventory accounting.
• Analyze inventory aging, variances, and related controls.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and cost analysis.
• Present analyses and recommendations to Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance leadership.
