The role requires 5–8 years in a manufacturing cost accounting setting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and ideally an MBA or CPA. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• MBA or CPA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted business partner to the Stuarts Draft Plant and Leadership.
• Prepare monthly closing entries and financial statements.
• Track actual performance to plans, forecasts and standards.
• Analyze spending trends and headcount and drive corrective actions.
• Support annual planning and interim projections.
• Ensure standard costs reflected in SAP and GAAP compliance.
• Drive process improvements in financial analysis and cost control.
• Participate in Plant Cost Savings initiatives and FF&G programs.
