Job summary

Hollingsworth & Vose in Massachusetts seeks a Senior Accountant – Plant Accounting to ensure accurate, timely financial results for manufacturing plants, partnering with plant operations and corporate accounting. You will report to the Corporate Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, variance analysis, and process improvements. Strong GAAP knowledge and ERP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review plant-related journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Analyze plant Balance Sheet and P&L results and variances versus budget and forecast.
• Support the month-end close process for timely reporting of plant results.
• Collaborate with Corporate Accounting to consolidate plant data into corporate results.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
