Amrize seeks a Plant Controls Engineer in Franklin, Indiana to support capital and maintenance projects, ensuring safe and efficient operation in a continuous production environment. You will collaborate with the Plant Engineer on design, implementation, and qualification of control systems for asphalt products.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering and 5–7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering.
• Five to seven years in a continuous manufacturing plant.
• Demonstrated knowledge of controls and impact on equipment.
• Strong project management experience.
• Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develops, designs, cost estimation, and prepares business cases for capital and expense projects.
• Evaluate, implement, and monitor processes and operating systems for asphalt product manufacture.
• Equipment calibration and maintenance monitoring.
• Support the conversion of older-scale processes into large-scale operations.
• Monitor and improve efficiency, output, and safety through data collection and analysis.
