Job summary

Anomatic Corporation in New Albany, OH seeks a Controls Engineer to design and manage controls projects, optimize equipment and workflows, and support manufacturing processes. You will determine parts and tools to meet product specs and lead automation initiatives across the plant.

The role emphasizes development of control system specifications, programming, and collaboration with design engineers to improve efficiency and safety on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Six Sigma/Lean processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong problem solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Control System Requirement Specifications with Automation/Design Engineers.
• Design electrical schematics and enclosure layouts for automation equipment.
• Review and approve electrical drawings (AutoCAD Electrical).
• Create BOMs, source quotes, and submit purchase requisitions.
• Ensure controls implementations are safe, efficient, and reliable.
• Assist maintenance with troubleshooting on plant floor issues.
